The Guest
Jason Sagstetter is unlike any guest I’ve had on the show before.
By day he works as a Senior IT Project Manager at H.B. Fuller, a manufacturer of adhesives. By night he’s a husband and father of two. Through it all, he wears his Google Glass.
Every day for the last 4 and a half years, from the moment he wakes up until the moment he goes to bed, he wears a pair of smartglasses.
Jason has spent his career in IT and has a deep passion for technology and exploring its impact on our lives. He also spent nearly a decade as a reserve police officer.
The Conversation
In this conversation, Jason explains why he wears the glasses every day, as well as the reactions from his wife and others. In a touching story, he describes how his kids think about smartglasses, and some moments he wouldn’t have been able to capture any other way.
He goes on to share how the glasses have impacted his life - both at home and at work.
He also talks about how and why H.B. Fuller - the adhesives manufacturer he works for - is exploring the use of smartglasses in their manufacturing processes.
